The Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile (SAS) program is pleased to announce 38 Wisconsin programs will receive funding to provide care in nearly 900 Wisconsin schools. This year, the competitive grant application process saw more than $800,000 in funding requests and only $650,000 was available for grant recipients.
During the 2017-18 school year, SAS programs provided sealants for nearly 30,000 children statewide. It is estimated that this number will continue to grow in the coming year. Wisconsin SAS is the state’s most comprehensive school-based oral health program.
