Going back to school is always a transition, but grieving a death can make the changes even more difficult. It is often easier for families to gather around each other for comfort and support as they grieve during the summer. The thought of sending your child back to school might make both you and your child nervous. For many families, though, the return to a daily routine and normal schedule can be helpful.
