The 2019 Wisconsin Oral Health Conference will take place Sept. 24-25 at Hotel Marshfield in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The theme of this year’s conference is “Opportunities for Innovation.” Keynote speakers from around the country will share creative and innovative strategies to increase oral health care utilization.
The agenda and continuing education credits are being finalized and will be announced at a later date.
Nominate an oral health champion
The Wisconsin Oral Health Coalition (WOHC) is accepting nominations for the Warren LeMay Oral Health Champion Award. Dr. Warren LeMay served as Wisconsin’s chief dental officer for more than 20 years, and was instrumental in the growth and development of the WOHC. The annual award is given to an individual or organization that best exemplifies WOHC’s mission to create meaningful change to improve oral health and access to care in Wisconsin.
Nominations are sought from all entities and individuals, excluding current members of the WOHC steering committee and WOHC staff. Nominees are not limited to dental professionals (i.e. dentists, dental hygienists, etc.). Limit one submission per person/entity.
Nominate an individual or organization by Friday, Aug. 16 at noon. The award recipient will be revealed at the 2019 Wisconsin Oral Health Conference.
