Our Impact
Our Impact
Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin strives to improve the health and well-being of every child by creating strategic alliances with diverse organizations, families and individuals. We tackle the state’s biggest needs, helping children who are underserved gain access to services and improving the quality of care for all children.
The Alliance is a resource for professionals working with families. We provide information, training and connections that enhance the efforts of health care providers, public health departments and policymakers. Our work impacts children statewide.
We are proud of our role in these advances for children’s health:
- Reduced the rate of childhood dental disease through the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile program
- Improved EMS providers’ ability to treat injured children
- Influenced asthma medication legislation
- Increased access to books for infants and toddlers
- Helped communities identify and address top child safety concerns
- Improved screening and quality of care for children and youth with special health care needs
- Reached more families grieving an infant loss than ever before
